Heriot-Watt University students visit Al-Futtaim Logistics
Al-Futtaim Logistics welcomed postgraduate students from Heriot-Watt University. During the visit the students went to one of the warehouses in DIC, the university students were shown the fulfillment process to learn about the operational excellence initiatives and the different aspects of innovative logistics. They met multiple division managers and the managing director of Al-Futtaim Logistics to better understand Ecommerce Fulfillment and Last Mile Delivery.
Raman Kumar said, “Future economic development and growth depends on our next generation and we, at Al-Futtaim Logistics, would like to contribute in the growth of our millennial leaders."
Dr. Shereen Nassar the Global Director of Logistics Studies at Heriot-Watt university and Michael Sockdale thanked Al-Futtaim Logistics for the informative tour that benefited the participants from the Heriot-Watt University
