Al-Futtaim Logistics welcomes President - Retail to its retail warehousing facilities

Al-Futtaim Logistics had the pleasure of welcoming Paul Delaoutre, President - Retail, Al-Futtaim, Girish Gupte, Finance Director - Retail, and Jiby George, Supply Chain Manager - Retail, to its retail warehousing facilities. The team was welcomed by Raman Kumar, Acting Managing Director and met representatives of Al-Futtaim Logistics' management team including Binoy George, General Manager - Contract Logistics, Philippe Sohie, General Manager - Automotive and Transportation, Vargheese Anthony, General Manager - Freight, and Kavitha Fernando, Client Relationship Manager.

The day's agenda incorporated a tour of several retail warehousing facilities including the main warehouse at Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) with its 'garments on hangers' operational model for fashion brands Babies "R" Us and F&F, and other retail brands such as Toys "R" Us and Sandgate, its JAFZA South Zone facility dedicated to ACE's warehouse operations and centralised home delivery services, and the custom-designed warehouse for IKEA located at Dubai Industrial City.

The high level meeting provided an opportunity to present Al-Futtaim Logistics' relationship with Al-Futtaim's retail division which dates back to 1990, and highlight recent areas of development in fashion logistics solutions, as well as regional developments, and new areas of growth in e-commerce and cold chain services.

Paul and his team discussed the long term partnership with Al-Futtaim Logistics and witnessed its reliable capabilities to rise to the diverse needs of customers in the retail industry by providing innovative solutions.
