Al-Futtaim Logistics wins Supply Chain of the Year award
Al-Futtaim Logistics was announced as the winner of the ‘Supply Chain of the Year 2016’ award at the Supply Chain and Transport Awards (SCATA) 2016 held by industry leading publication ITP on 20th April at InterContinental Dubai Festival City. This is the second consecutive Supply Chain Awards for Al-Futtaim Logistics.
The award is presented to the company that has continued to raise standards in the Middle East logistics industry with its regional supply chain operations, including cost or time savings, market innovations, regional investments and responsible working practices.
Al-Futtaim Logistics was recognised for providing customised supply chain solutions to corporate customers, leading to significant logistics cost and time saving achieved through the reengineering of and supply chain consolidation processes as well as responsible corporate social working practices.
The SCATA awards recognise regional and international companies from the Middle East logistics industry. Al-Futtaim Logistics’ win was selected by a prestigious panel of experts chosen by the SCATA organiser from the Middle East logistics industry.
