UAE Flag Day marked by Al-Futtaim Logistics Employees
UAE Flag Day has been adopted by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, as a proud occasion which enhances the culture of appreciation of the UAE Flag and patriotism, as a symbol of pride for the nation. UAE Flag Day honours the anniversary of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession as President of the UAE.
Al-Futtaim Logistics employees gathered together on the 3 November to mark the occasion at the company's head office in Jebel Ali.
Flag raising ceremonies were coordinated to take place at 11am, at the same time as all UAE Government entities across the country.
